Case:
Al-Burj is a newly founded construction company, operating in the Middle-east/ Arab countries.
Majority of the private sector Arab companies are dominated by foreign expatriates, so Al-Burj
also hired major portion of their workforce from other countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh,
Philippine, and some technical experts from the USA, and Germany. Like other Arab companies,
top management is from the native Arabs who run the company along strong hierarchical lines,
and they tend to be very instructional in their approach. The Management of Al-Burj is facing
the challenge of workforce diversity. They have clear idea that along with many benefits of
globalization there are many short comings associated with this, and a very common issue is
workforce diversity. It is well known fact that diversity, if managed effectively, can be a
differential advantage of a company; and if could not be managed, it can be the worst nightmare
for the corporate.
Question:
Being HR Manager of the company you have been assigned to develop a report in order to
formulate strategy to cope with the issue of workforce diversity. On what grounds you can build
a strategy in which management of the company can better manage the workforce diversity?

Note:
