OBJECTIVE OF THE ACTIVITY:
The objective of the activity is to make students able to know the fundamentals of total quality management.
After attempting this activity, the students will be able to:

There are many Food Industries in Pakistan. Quice Food Industries is one of them and it established on March 12, 1990. Quice Food claims productions of high quality food products that include mashrobats, variety of juices, ice cream syrup etc. Consistency in meeting customer expectations, focus on continuous improvement and performance of products’ quality is in the core values of Quice Food Industries. Despite claiming high quality products by Quice Food since long time it fell short to deliver quality standard products and meet customer expectations.
Quice Food is still struggling to survive in market and customer satisfaction and its products are bit far away in quality perspective as compare to its competitors in market.
Being a student of Total Quality Management, after analyzing the scenario, answer the following
1. Identify the possible gaps between claims made by Quice and its actual performance in
market from total quality management perspective. (5 Marks)
2. What possible measures Quice Food should take to improve the quality of its products for
market survival and meeting customer expectations? (5 Marks)
